It scans the toy upside down and backwards. You cant flip the screen nor can you scan it by using a mirror. Terrible app, dont waste your time unless they fix bugs

Boo McDonalds!! Boooooo!!!

All this does is disappoint children when they cant scan a toy and play the game. Used to work fine about a year ago but hasnt worked since then.

This app is awful! It wont scan anything. And freezes while trying until I completely close the entire app. For a multi billion dollar corporation, you would think an app that they push your kids to play would actually work. I give this a 1 because there is no option for 0!

The fricken app doesnt scan in your toy this is a waste of time!

Fun but the update made it hard to go into those books like the one about Vikings not the book toys u scan the ones u read for free interactive ones I remeber I had it on my iPod but on this iPad it dont work. Still great game and fun dont know why people hate it so much

You do not need to tap on the scan you got to press coins

The scan didn’t work, so now I have a crying kid because she can’t play the Hello Kitty game that was promised with her toy. I don’t know if the scanner is broken, or if they removed the game. McD, do this right or not at all!

Terrible app wouldnt even load

My son loves these little games, hes 4 and can figure out most of the games with no problem. Unfortunately this app is very glitchy and Im constantly having to restart it or fix it for him, which is definitely a pain sometimes. Plus on my iPad 2 (the one hes allowed to use for this, since this app isnt available on his Kindle Fire), the whole Transformers section of games doesnt work and hes very disappointed. We have 3 Transformers toys scanned in, 3 games unlocked, but as soon as you try to load a transformer game, it freezes for a minute or two, then force closes. The whole app is a great concept, just poorly executed. But I cant say Im surprised, its basically just like the toys themselves, free and kind of fun for the kids to play with, but junky; cheaply and poorly made, breaks easily, only works right sometimes. So I suppose its only logical that the app would match the junkiness of the toys.. Still disappointing though. Impatiently awaiting an update to fix the force closing issue.

Im sitting in a McDonalds connected to WiFi, and the app wont finish loading. After 5 minutes I gave up and deleted it. My kids will play Candy Crush instead.

One of the levels are stumping me because its impossible to bounce off a sideways platform and get the chicken nuggets! In the old version it was much easier cuz the happy meal was to the right so I was able to bounce off the chicken nuggets, get the apple, and the milk, and land a slam dunk in the happy meal. Now its impossible! Fix it now!!!!!!!

I mean its cool but the loading screen broke and shut off the app

My son scanned his toy in and as he want to play the games for that toy, the app crashed and now it wont let him rescan his toy so he can actually play anything...absolutely a horrible app.

I downloaded this app for my grand-daughter. It never did anything, kept loading for more than 25 minutes! This is ridiculous- my grand daughter was very upset

Its good for a McDonalds app but not even close to my favorite app.

Long story short, in doesnt work whatsoever and I now have 2 frustrated 5 year old who were so excited to have their toys in an app. Im not loving it.
